About us

Based in Sheffield and the Peak District, Upland Environmental Ltd. is an ecological consultancy and contractor specialising in landscape scale restoration and conservation work. The company was formed in 2022, and is made up of a growing team founded on years of experience working together in this field. 

Our dedicated workforce of operatives and ecologists come from a range of backgrounds, with a rich pool of skills and experience required for the complexity and scope of the projects we undertake. We work closely with national conservation organisations, land managers, land owners and farmers, with a shared goal to protect and restore some of the UK's most valuable habitats.

We use up-to-date methods and techniques based on new research in the field, and in response to our own monitoring. We pride ourselves on being able to adapt to changes in legislation and funding around ecology and land management, and to the broad scope of client briefs and project sites. We work to the highest standards of health and safety, and are CHAS accredited, meeting PAS 91 and SSIP standards.

Our work covers some of England, Wales and Scotland's most remote and challenging locations and we have extensive experience working on sensitive ecological sites, SSSIs and SPAs. For more information please contact us.
