Tree Planting
We provide a specialist tree planting service in the most remote locations and challenging terrains. Our most experienced team members have spent over a decade replanting native woodlands, and our ever growing team works to the highest standards. Services include clough woodland regeneration, woodland creation, hedgerow planting, ground preparation and ongoing aftercare. We work closely with clients and landowners to follow specific requirements, whilst continually looking for new methods to improve our work and stay up-to-date. We supply of a broad range of tree species and ages, and have dedicated over-winter plant storage.
Moorland Restoration
Our work spans England, Wales and Scotland, and covers all practical aspects of peatland restoration. The team has a wealth of experience providing plug planting, heather brash spreading, grip blocking, gully blocking, air marshalling and geo-textile installation. Our experience ensures we are able to work safely and responsibly in remote and sensitive sites, and that we are able to work with clients to overcome the technical challenges faced in protecting and restoring moorlands.
Pond Creation & Wetland Management
Ponds are an increasingly popular way of encouraging biodiversity whilst providing natural flood management. Our team is highly experienced in the design and construction of ponds and swales of all sizes, as well as surveying, restoration and advice for existing ponds and wetlands. We can work with land owners and farmers to find the right solution for the benefit of biodiversity in line with stewardship schemes.
Ecology
As well as contracting, we offer ecology services in support of restoration projects. Our experienced ecologists can provide a wide range of services, including preliminary ecological appraisals, species & habitat surveys, monitoring, ECoW and ecological impact assessments. We are able to work with clients during the full process involved in ecological restoration, from consultation and planning through to design and delivery.
